Russia plans to increase energy supplies to China in 2025. According to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, the supply of oil, pipeline gas and LNG is expected to increase.

In 2024, China imported from Russia:

  • Oil: 108.47 million tons
  • LNG: 8.3 million tons
  • "lt;li;gt;Pipeline gas through the Power of Siberia: about 31 billion cubic meters (exceeding contractual obligations).
Novak noted that in 2025 it is planned to reach contract targets for the Power of Siberia, as well as increase oil and LNG supplies. At the same time, a slight decrease in coal supplies to China is expected. In general, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, the volume of energy supplies in equivalent terms will be higher than in 2024.
