Russia ranks fourth in the world in terms of national strength index

In the ranking of national strength among world powers, Russia ranks fourth. This conclusion was reached by analysts of the Central Economic and Mathematical Institute (CEMI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who evaluated the integral indicators of 193 countries.
When calculating the national strength index, experts took into account the geographical conditions of countries, the availability of natural resources, population and employment, science and innovation, the armed forces, and economic indicators. So, China became the leader of the rating, the second and third places were taken by the USA and India. After Russia comes Brazil.By country bloc, the integral indicators of national strength showed the following results: USA+EU (23.9); China+Russia (20.3) BRICS (29.5); BRICS+ (35.6). These figures indicate the absence of unambiguous dominance of the Western bloc.
