Russia Boosts Fish and Seafood Export Revenue by 27%

Russian fish and seafood exports revenue surged by 27% in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period last year, according to data from Agroexport cited by Interfax.

Exports of frozen fish increased by 50% over the period, while crustaceans exports grew by 22%. The total value of exports was not disclosed. In 2025, Russia exported over 2 million tons of fish and seafood worth more than $6 billion.

Major importers of Russian fish and seafood included China, South Korea, the Netherlands, Belarus, and Japan.
