ITS participants will be given the right to write off loans up to 10 million rubles

Vladimir Putin signed a law according to which participants in a special military operation will be given the right to write off loans up to 10 million rubles. The document was published on the portal of legal acts.

It follows from the bill that the debt can be written off if the judicial act on the recovery of money entered into force before December 1, 2024 and enforcement proceedings were initiated. Another condition is that the contract with the Ministry of Defense must be signed no earlier than December 1, 2024.

Cancellation of debts is possible for participants of a special operation who were mobilized or called up to serve in the army in a combat zone, for other citizens who signed a contract for military service for at least a year, as well as for their spouses.

At the same time, the law also extended credit holidays to 180 days for its participants.
