Russia will prematurely lift the ban on gasoline exports

The Russian authorities plan to lift the ban on gasoline exports ahead of schedule. This was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, TASS reports.

According to Novak, the ban may be lifted in the coming days. The relevant documents are being prepared. He noted that it is not yet known from what exact date the restriction will be lifted.

    The ban on gasoline exports to the Russian Federation was introduced in the spring of 2024, it was temporarily canceled and extended several times. Its validity is calculated until the end of 2024. Earlier, the authorities stated that they could lift the restriction ahead of time if there is an excess of fuel on the domestic market.
