### Fuel Restrictions Implemented in Nizhny Novgorod Region Following Mass Drone Attack Nizhny Novgorod region has introduced temporary restrictions on the sale and transportation of motor fuel. The measures were adopted by the regional crisis management headquarters following a massive drone attack and are aimed at ensuring uninterrupted supply to local gas stations. Under the new rules, individual cars can now purchase no more than 40 liters of gasoline per refueling. The restrictions do not apply to diesel fuel. Additionally, the sale of gasoline in containers such as jerry cans and other portable containers has been banned within the region. Authorities have also reinforced compliance with the existing "even-odd" system, under which fuel is sold to vehicles with license plates ending in even numbers on even days and odd numbers on odd days. Extra restrictions have been placed on gas stations near the borders of Nizhny Novgorod region, limiting fuel sales to cars registered in other Russian regions. As emphasized by the regional government, this decision is unprecedented and intended to prioritize the supply of fuel to local residents. Furthermore, the export of fuel from regional storage facilities outside the region has been temporarily prohibited, with exceptions made for deliveries required by the Ministry of Defense and emergency services. These measures were implemented following a massive drone attack on Nizhny Novgorod region on Sunday. Earlier, Governor Gleb Nikitin reported the destruction of over 100 drones. As a result of the attack, a major industrial facility in Kstovo district was severely damaged. Mayor of Nizhny Novgorod, Yury Shalabayev, also confirmed damage to an industrial facility and a municipal infrastructure object. Despite the damage to technological facilities, the regional government stated that the fuel supply system continues to operate stably. Additional measures are being taken to ensure the availability of gasoline and diesel at gas stations.
