Starlink Satellite System Can Support Military Infrastructure, But Not Offensive Strikes, Says Elon Musk

Starlink satellite system can be used for military infrastructure purposes, but it is not intended for offensive strikes, as this would make it a legitimate military target, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said in response to the decision to limit access to Starlink for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

"It can be used for military-related infrastructure, but not for explicitly offensive strikes that would make it a legitimate target for counterattack," Musk wrote on the X social network.

He warned that the destruction of Starlink satellites would trigger a "devastating domino effect," creating a large debris field in space that would render space "unusable."
