An industrial facility in the Surgut district of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug caught fire following an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle, regional governor Ruslan Kukharuk announced.

Emergency services are on the scene, and specialists are assessing the extent of the damage and evaluating the nature of the losses, Kukharuk said. The situation is under his personal control.

Kukharuk also urged residents to remain calm.
