Russian oil refineries are taking independent measures to organize passive protection, while their owners are collaborating with the military to enhance air defense of the facilities, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in response to a question from journalist Olga Knyazeva of "Vesti" news agency.
According to Novak, oil companies are involved in ensuring the security of their facilities and are taking steps to increase their resilience against potential attacks.
Novak also stated that there are no obstacles to the export of Russian diesel fuel. He stressed that the sanctions imposed on Russian companies do not in themselves mean a ban on exporting products abroad.
