Diesel Fuel Exchange Price Drops 3% Over Week

Gasoline and diesel prices fell by 0.02%-3.34% over the past week, according to data from the St. Pyotrsburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) on September 25.

AI-92 gasoline (a common gasoline grade in Russia) lost 0.67% in price, dropping to 69,552 rubles per ton. AI-95 gasoline saw a marginal decrease of 0.02%, reaching 71,403 rubles per ton. Summer diesel fuel prices fell by 3.34% to 66,857 rubles per ton.

In contrast, heavy fuel oil (used for heating and industrial purposes) saw a significant increase of 18.44%, reaching 29,770 rubles per ton. Liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) prices fell by 2.14%, settling at 50,597 rubles per ton.
