Over 4.66 million people participated in early voting for Russian State Duma elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has released the results of the early voting stage. According to the latest data as of 10:00 on September 19, a total of 4,663,963 citizens have already cast their votes.

In 12 regions of Russia where martial law or medium-level response measures are in place, 4,400,215 voters participated in early voting.

In remote areas, 232,369 people have made their choice. On ships that will be at sea on voting day – 31,258 voters. At polar stations – 121 voters.

The CEC has also updated figures on remote electronic voting (REV). More than 4 million applications for online voting have been submitted in 33 regions of the country. Of these applicants, over 2.9 million have already voted – 73% of those registered.
