### Russian Government to Automate One-Time Payments for Hero Mothers from 2027 The Russian Ministry of Labor has prepared a draft government decree that envisions the automatic assignment of one-time payments to Hero Mothers starting from 2027. The proposal has been published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts. Under the plan, starting January 1, 2027, the Social Fund will automatically pay 1 million rubles to women honored with the title "Mother Heroine" (awarded to women who have given birth to and raised 10 or more children). Additionally, those awarded the "Parental Glory" Order (500,000 rubles) and the Medal of the "Parental Glory" Order (200,000 rubles) will also receive their payments automatically. The mechanism for making these payments will work as follows: a designated regional authority will be required to submit information to the Social Fund about the awarding of the "Mother Heroine" title, the "Parental Glory" Order, or the Medal within 10 days of the relevant decree being signed. Based on this information, the Social Fund will then process the payments.
