The Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has launched an investigation into potential violations of antitrust laws by several construction companies that were awarded contracts for the repair and maintenance of federal roads in Moscow, Vladimir, Tula regions, and Krasnodar Territory.
The FAS suspects that companies "TekhStroyKontrakt", "DorEnergoStroy", "DorServis", "DorMekhanizatsiya", "ViaStroy", "Bitumiks", "DEP No. 19", and "DEP No. 12" entered into an anticompetitive agreement aimed at keeping prices high during tenders. Their actions allegedly resulted in contracts being awarded with minimal price reductions.
