Lavrov Warns of Potential Short Conflict with Europe

Russia would consider the deployment of Western military contingents in Ukraine as an act of war, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at an international youth festival.

He stressed that Russia does not intend to attack Western countries but will respond if attacked by Europe.

"This would be a completely different war, and it would be very short," the top diplomat added.
