Benchmark oil prices continued to rise on September 7 amid ongoing tensions between the US and Iran, according to trading data from the London-based ICE Futures exchange and the New York Mercantile Exchange.
November futures for Brent crude oil increased by 0.8%, reaching $97.28 per barrel.
October futures for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil rose by 1%, hitting $92.46 per barrel.
