FSB detains Omsk resident over alleged data transfer to Ukraine for refinery attack

In Omsk, Russia, local security services have detained a resident suspected of collaborating with Ukrainian intelligence and providing information about the Omsk oil refinery, according to a statement from the regional branch of the Federal Security Service (FSB).
According to the FSB, the man established contact with representatives of Ukrainian intelligence services and passed them information about facilities of Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery (AO "Gazpromneft-ONPZ"). The FSB alleges that the information could have been used to prepare an attack using unmanned aerial vehicles.
A criminal case has been opened against the detained individual under the charge of treason.
If found guilty, he could face a punishment ranging up to life imprisonment.
The circumstances of the case and details of the charges are being established as part of the ongoing investigation.
