### Russian Air Defense Systems Intercept Massive Drone Attack Overnight Russian air defense systems successfully thwarted a large-scale drone attack overnight, intercepting and neutralizing 791 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The drones were detected over the following regions: Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Tambov, and Tula. Additionally, air targets were identified over the Moscow region, Krasnodar territory, and the Republic of Crimea (a region annexed by Russia in 2014 and claimed by Ukraine). Some of the drones were intercepted over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
