MICEX Index Rises 1.3% in Tuesday Trading Session, Reaches 2320 Points

MICEX rises by 1.3% on Tuesday trading session, reaching 2,320 basis points.

Trading dynamics of the most liquid stocks:

- VTB +2%;

- Sberbank +0.5%;

- Rosneft +0.3%;

- Gazprom +0.7%.

The MICEX Index is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is calculated based on the market capitalization of free-float shares and includes highly liquid securities of large and rapidly growing Russian companies.

The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, of the most liquid Russian company stocks.

It is worth noting that the index composition and weights are reviewed quarterly.
