### Foreign Electronics Sales in Russia Grow by 6% in First Half of 2026
In the first half of 2026, the turnover of foreign electronics in Russia increased by 6% year-on-year, according to data from CDEK.Shopping cited by [Kommersant](https://www.kommersant.ru/doc/8845010). The number of orders rose by 28%, but the average order value dropped by 17% to 45,900 rubles.
Headphones and audio equipment accounted for 32% of total orders, up from computers and components which led last year with a 35.98% share. Other popular categories included electronics accessories (10.13%), smart gadgets (7.3%), and smartphones (5.64%). Apple remained the most popular brand, accounting for 28% of all orders, followed by Xiaomi, Ray-Ban, Asus, and Oura.
The geographical distribution of orders remained largely unchanged, with the U.S. leading (73.25%), followed by China (21.67%), Hong Kong (3.23%), UAE (1.43%), and Vietnam (0.23%).
Market participants attribute the growth in cross-border trade to the development of marketplaces, predicting that this trend will continue as a way to quickly expand product offerings without significant inventory costs within the country.
According to data from "Platform OFD" (a major Russian fiscal data operator), the average receipt for electronics and household appliances in Russia since the beginning of the year was 8,200 rubles, 3% lower than the previous year. Offline sales decreased by 4% year-on-year, while online sales increased by 16%.
