Imprisoned Blinovskaya in Vladimir Region Colony Earns Under 7,000 Rubles Monthly

"Marathon Queen" Yelena Blinovskaya, currently serving her sentence at a Vladimir region prison colony, earns just over 6,500 rubles (approximately $80) per month, according to "Vladimir News".

It is specified that in Golikovo she earned around 36,000 rubles ($440) over six months. In February, the woman was unable to work a full month due to illness.

Meanwhile, SHOT notes that Blinovskaya still owes the tax authorities 197,000 rubles ($2,400).

To recap: the Savelyevsky District Court of Moscow found Blinovskaya guilty of tax evasion and sentenced her to five years in a general regime penal colony, as well as a fine and a ban on commercial activities. The blogger used a business fragmentation scheme and a network of controlled companies to avoid paying taxes. She is currently serving her sentence at Female Correctional Colony No. 1 in the Vladimir region.
