Twelve Strong Earthquakes Hit Kamchatka Coast in 90 Minutes

Seismologists have recorded at least 12 strong earthquakes off the coast of Kamchatka, with magnitudes reaching up to 6.7. All of these earthquakes occurred within a span of an hour and a half, according to the Kamchatka Branch of the Federal Research Center for Earthquake Geophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (FRC EGS RAS).

The powerful tremors were detected in the Pacific Ocean, approximately 150-180 kilometers from Pyotropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The first earthquake took place at 06:51 local time.
