### Russian Stock Market Opens Lower on Wednesday On Wednesday, the opening session of the Russian stock market saw the MOEX Index (formerly known as MICEX) decline by 0.1%, trading at 2,490 basis points. The most liquid stocks displayed the following trading dynamics: - Lukoil: -0.5% - Gazprom: -0.1% - Sberbank: -0.1% - Rosneft: -0.4% The MOEX Index is a price indicator of the Russian stock market, calculated based on the market capitalization of freely traded shares (free-float) and includes highly liquid securities of large and fast-growing Russian companies. The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, and includes the most liquid stocks of Russian companies. The index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
