Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 157 Ukrainian drones during the night of June 17, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Kaluga, Tula, Oryol, Smolensk, Lipetsk, Tver, Ryazan, Rostov, Astrakhan regions, Moscow area, Krasnodar region, the Republic of Crimea (a disputed territory claimed by both Russia and Ukraine), and the Black Sea waters.
