The Russian government has decided to temporarily restrict the export of aviation kerosene as part of measures aimed at ensuring stable fuel supply within the domestic market.
Under the new decree, the export of jet fuel, including that purchased through stock exchange trading, is prohibited until November 30, 2026. The government emphasized that the measure is intended to maintain stability in the domestic oil products market and prevent potential supply disruptions.
However, several exceptions are provided. The restrictions do not apply to fuel stored in the technical tanks of aircraft operating international flights, as well as batches of aviation kerosene that were placed under customs procedures before the decree came into force.
Additionally, the ban does not affect deliveries carried out under existing intergovernmental agreements.
The government stressed that the decision is part of a set of measures aimed at maintaining reliable and uninterrupted fuel supply for Russian consumers.
