During the night of May 26, Russian air defense units intercepted and destroyed 59 Ukrainian drones, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Novgorod, and Smolensk regions, as well as the Republic of Crimea (a region annexed by Russia in 2014).
