Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 217 Ukrainian drones overnight on May 22, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Oryol, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver, Tula, Yaroslavl regions, Moscow and St. Pyotrsburg.
