Moscow Exchange Index rises 0.7% in Monday trading session

Moscow Exchange Index (MOEX) rises by 0.7% on Monday, reaching 2,585 points during the trading session.
Among the most liquid stocks, the following dynamics are observed:
- Gazprom +0.7%;
- Sberbank +0.5%;
- Lukoil +0.7%;
- Rosneft +0.4%.
The Moscow Exchange Index (MOEX) is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is calculated based on the market capitalization of free-floating shares and includes highly liquid securities of large and dynamically growing Russian companies.
The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated using prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, and includes the most liquid stocks of Russian companies. The index composition and weighting are reviewed quarterly.
