Major Russian fertilizer producers will continue to maintain price caps on fertilizers at 2022 levels. The measure to fix the price ceiling for the domestic Russian market has been extended until November 30, 2026, according to the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).

This will ensure that farmers have access to affordable raw materials during the agricultural season.

FAS noted that, in line with its recommendations, manufacturers voluntarily set maximum prices for mineral fertilizers in 2021, which were then adjusted in 2022. There has been no further adjustment since 2023.

Earlier, the government extended export restrictions on mineral fertilizers until November 30, 2026. As a result, FAS coordinated trade and sales policies with major producers.
