### Russian New Car Sales Up 15.1% in April
MOSCOW — A total of 117,500 new passenger cars were sold in Russia in April, marking a 15.1% increase compared to the same period last year, according to Autostat, a leading Russian automotive market research agency.
The top-selling brands in April were Lada (31,800 units), Haval (16,500), Tenet (12,000), Geely (6,800), and Belgee (5,700). (Note: Lada is a well-known Russian automobile brand; Haval, Tenet, Geely, and Belgee are Chinese brands.)
Overall, from January to April, Russia has sold 382,500 new passenger cars, representing a 9.6% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
