Lavrov, Rubio Discuss Global Agenda in Phone Call

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, according to a statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

During the call, the two officials discussed key issues on the international agenda, as well as the current state of Russian-American relations. Special attention was given to coordinating future contacts between the two countries.

The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the conversation took place in a constructive and businesslike manner, emphasizing its working nature.
