Futures prices for precious metals—platinum, palladium, gold, and silver—declined by 1.47-3.49% during trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and its division Comex, according to market data.

June palladium futures dropped 3.49% to $1,545 per troy ounce, while July platinum futures fell 2.7% to $2,083.9 per troy ounce.

June gold futures fell 1.47% to $4,808 per troy ounce, and May silver futures dropped 3.18% to $79.24 per troy ounce.

This price movement was driven by the escalating conflict in the Middle East.
