Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that Russia is ready to share its artificial intelligence (AI) technologies with partners, highlighting their proven effectiveness and potential demand within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). He made the statement during a plenary session at the international digital forum Digital Qazaqstan 2026.

Mishustin emphasized that Russian AI solutions are in high demand domestically due to their consideration of linguistic and cultural user characteristics. As an example, he cited the voice assistant Alice and its generative technologies, which, according to him, have already surpassed foreign services available in Russia in terms of traffic volume.

The Prime Minister stressed that partners are not just offered open models but adapted solutions tailored to the national specifics of individual countries, with engineering support from Russian developers. These technologies are expected to be applicable across the entire Eurasian space.

Mishustin noted that AI is already actively used in various sectors of the economy. Russia has established a regulatory framework that allows for testing new technologies before transitioning to their commercial application.

Specifically, around 100 autonomous trucks are already operating on the M-11 "Neva" highway and the Central Ring Road, with a total mileage of over 10 million kilometers on pilot routes last year.

Additionally, civilian unmanned aerial systems are widely used in Russia for agriculture, logistics, and industrial monitoring. According to the Prime Minister, a complete ecosystem of autonomous technologies has already been established in the country.

Mishustin also proposed launching joint projects with EAEU partners and other friendly countries based on Russian developments, particularly in the areas of unmanned cargo transportation, agricultural development, and delivery to remote regions.

Furthermore, the governments of the union are preparing a joint statement by the heads of state on the development of AI technologies within the integration association, which is expected to accelerate the launch of joint innovation projects.
