### Russia Proposes Mandatory Marking of Auto Parts from September 2026 Starting from September 1, 2026, Russia may introduce mandatory marking of auto parts, according to a proposal from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Minpromtorg) of the Russian Federation. The project outlines a phased implementation of mandatory marking. The ministry highlighted that the auto parts market in Russia has a high share of illegal products. There has been an increase in violations in the automotive industry related to the import and sale of counterfeit auto parts for passenger cars, as well as non-compliance with mandatory safety requirements established by the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) technical regulations. - From February 2025 to August 31, 2026, Russia is conducting an experiment on marking auto components.
