MICEX Index rises 0.3% in Tuesday trading session

On Tuesday, the MICEX Index is rising by 0.3% during the trading session, with the Moscow Exchange Index trading at 2,845 basis points.
The most liquid stocks are showing the following trading dynamics:
- Sberbank -0.4%;
- Lukoil +0.3%;
- Rosneft +3%;
- Norilsk Nickel -1.2%.
The MICEX Index (Moscow Exchange Index) is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is formed based on the market capitalization of free-floating shares and includes highly liquid securities of large and rapidly growing Russian companies.
The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, of the most liquid Russian company stocks.
It is worth noting that the index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
