Two earthquakes of magnitude 4.4-4.5 hit Sochi area

Seismologists have recorded underground tremors near the resort city of Sochi. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 27 km from Sochi and 185 km from Krasnodar, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

The magnitude of the first tremor was 4.4. Several minutes later, a second earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 struck.
