Aeroflot has announced changes to its international flight schedule due to the closure of Iranian airspace. The decisions have been made to ensure flight safety.

All flights between Moscow and Tehran have been cancelled. Passengers are offered a forced ticket refund.

Flight routes to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha (charter programs) and Male have been revised: aircraft will now fly around Iranian territory through Pakistani airspace. Due to the increased route length, flight times will also increase.

Flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha, operated by medium-haul aircraft, will now include an additional technical stop in Samara for refuelling. The extended flight duration will result in a shift of return flight departure times by approximately 1-2 hours.

Additionally, the SU520/521 "Moscow - Dubai - Moscow" flight scheduled for June 13 has been cancelled. Passengers will be transferred to the SU526/527 flight, which will be operated on a larger Boeing 777 aircraft.

The company clarified that the current adjustments will remain in place until safe conditions for civil aviation are fully restored.

Russian airlines, in coordination with the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Federal Air Transport Agency, have pre-emptively developed alternative routes for flights to the Persian Gulf countries, taking into account the closure of Iranian and Israeli airspace.

If necessary, carriers will consolidate flights and use wide-body aircraft to maintain capacity.

Passengers are advised to monitor the latest information through official airline channels, online flight boards, and booking management services.
