### Russian Stock Market Opens Higher: MICEX Index Gains 0.2% On Wednesday, the opening session of the Russian stock market saw the MICEX Index rise by 0.2%, trading at 2,767 basis points. The most liquid stocks showed the following trading dynamics: - Lukoil +0.1% - Sberbank -0.2% - Gazprom +0.1% - VTB -1% It is worth noting that the MICEX Index (Russian: ММВБ) is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is calculated based on the free-float market capitalization of highly liquid shares of large and rapidly growing Russian companies. The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by free-float market capitalization, including the most liquid Russian company stocks. The index composition and weighting are reviewed quarterly.
