Geneva talks to commence at 11 a.m. Moscow time

The next round of negotiations on the Ukrainian settlement in Geneva will begin at 9:00 local time, which corresponds to 11:00 Moscow time, TASS reports, citing a source familiar with the organization of the meeting.
On February 17, consultations involving representatives from Russia, the United States, and Ukraine took place at the InterContinental Geneva hotel and lasted about six hours. It is expected that the discussions will continue in the same format.
The Russian delegation at the negotiations is led by Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to the Russian President. The parties are discussing issues related to the possible parameters of conflict resolution.
The source clarified that the meeting will start "at 9:00 Geneva time."
According to media reports, the first day of negotiations proceeded in several formats: Russian-American, Russian-Ukrainian, and trilateral. The atmosphere of the meetings was characterized as "tense."
