In Abu Dhabi, representatives from Russia, Ukraine, and the United States have agreed to exchange 314 prisoners of war, according to U.S. presidential envoy Steve Witkoff, who described the talks as substantive and productive.

Witkoff noted that this marks the first such exchange in five months, following detailed discussions as part of the peace dialogue. While emphasizing that the overall resolution process remains complex and requires further effort, he highlighted that the agreement itself demonstrates tangible progress from diplomatic engagement between the parties.

Negotiations between the three countries began in Abu Dhabi on February 4. This is the second round of trilateral consultations aimed at resolving the situation surrounding Ukraine; the previous meeting in this format took place on January 23-24.
