MICEX Index rises 1% during Tuesday trading session

MICEX Index rises by 1% on Tuesday trading session, reaching 2795 basis points.
Most liquid stocks show the following trading dynamics:
- Sberbank +0.2%;
- Lukoil +0.3%;
- Gazprom +0.2%;
- Nornickel +1.7%.
The MICEX Index (ММВБ) is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is formed based on the market capitalization of free-floating shares and includes highly liquid securities of large and dynamically growing Russian companies.
The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, of the most liquid Russian company stocks.
Note that the index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
