The Council of Ministers of the Union State has reviewed the interim results of the Russia-Belarus integration program for 2024–2026 and outlined further steps for the next 2-3 years.

One of the key decisions was the agreement on criteria for assigning the status of Union State product. Such products will be eligible for additional government support measures, including expanded access to state procurement mechanisms.

To identify these products, a special mark is planned to be introduced. It is expected that this mark will help consumers more easily navigate and verify the origin of goods produced in cooperation between the two countries.

According to the approved parameters, Union State products will include those in which at least 50% of the added value is created on the territories of Russia and Belarus. At the same time, the contribution of each side must account for at least a quarter of the total added value.
