Trade between Russia and Belarus reached nearly 4 trillion rubles ($50 billion) in the first eleven months of 2025, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced during a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State.

He noted that economic cooperation between the two countries continues to expand, with trade turnover showing steady growth. The prime minister emphasized that the achieved figures reflect strengthened cooperation and deepened integration processes between Moscow and Minsk.

Mishustin also highlighted collaboration in the field of education and professional training. He recalled a previously signed agreement that establishes new terms for the operation of the Belarusian-Russian University (a joint educational institution), formalizing its status as an interstate educational institution and setting unified conditions for student scholarship support.

Currently, around 4,000 students are enrolled at the university. According to the prime minister, the updated framework will allow students to continue acquiring in-demand professions in line with high educational standards.
