Russian Air Defense Downs 21 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in Nighttime Incidents across Regions

In the wee hours of February 1, air defense units successfully intercepted and neutralized a series of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) resembling aircraft. A total of 21 drones were brought down. The highest concentration of targets was in the skies above Belgorod Oblast, where 14 drones were neutralized. An additional five drones were shot down over Voronezh Oblast. One drone was eliminated over the territories of Astrakhan and Kaluga Oblasts. Emergency and response services in the regions where the drones crashed are on site to assess the situation and provide necessary assistance.
