Gold prices surged past $5,250 per troy ounce, marking a new all-time high, according to Comex exchange data.

On January 28, the price of the February gold futures contract rose by 3.3%, reaching $5,250.4 per troy ounce during trading.

At the same time, the March palladium futures contract increased by 5.66%, hitting $1,987 per troy ounce, while the April platinum futures contract rose by 5.73%, reaching $2,682.7 per troy ounce. The March silver futures contract saw a jump of 9.34%, trading at $115.85 per troy ounce.
