The process of diversification of enterprises in the Russian defense industry continues. The production of civilian products has been increasing by 10% annually over the past few years. This was reported by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, during a meeting with President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

"With the current increased volume of orders, the growth of civilian products produced by defense industry enterprises has been 10% annually over the last three years. And by the end of 2025, we have reached the previously agreed parameters, surpassing the 30% share of civilian products in defense industry enterprises," emphasized Manturov.

This includes the production of railway transport, construction and road machinery, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, household electronics, and telecom equipment. Further plans include expanding the number of civilian projects implemented by defense industry enterprises.
