MICEX Index Falls by 0.4% on Monday During Trading Session

On Monday, the MICEX Index drops by 0.4% during the trading session, reaching a level of 2715 basis points.

Among the most liquid stocks, the following dynamics are observed:

- Gazprom +0.5%;

- Sberbank +0.5%;

- Lukoil -5.6%;

- Rosneft -1.7%.

The decline in the share prices of Rosneft and Lukoil is due to the dividend cutoff.

It should be noted that the Moscow Exchange Index (MICEX) is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is formed based on the market capitalization of freely traded shares (free-float) and includes highly liquid securities of large and dynamically growing Russian companies.

The composite stock price index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, and the most liquid shares of Russian companies. The index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
