About 50 flights delayed by more than 2 hours at Moscow airports

Airports of the Moscow aviation hub - Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky - continue to operate in normal mode during the day of January 9, despite an abnormal snowfall in the Moscow region. The arrival and departure of aircraft are carried out in full compliance with all safety requirements.

According to the press service of Rosaviation, from 00:00 to 13:00 Moscow time, the four airports have collectively serviced 492 flights for arrival and departure. In the last four hours, 260 flights were completed, and in the interval from 12:00 to 13:00 - 97 flights.

At the same time, there have been sporadic changes in the schedule: a total of 14 flights were canceled, both on arrival and departure, and another 48 flights were delayed by more than two hours.
