Government Allocates Additional 5 Billion Rubles for Preferential Agricultural Loans

The Russian government will allocate additional funds to support the subsidized lending program for the agro-industrial complex.

An additional 5 billion rubles will be allocated to support agricultural producers. This will allow maintaining reduced interest rates on previously issued investment and short-term loans.

The additional funding applies to loans attracted for the production and processing of agricultural products. The authorities expect that extending favorable credit terms will reduce the financial burden on farmers and increase the resilience of industry enterprises.

It is expected that by maintaining accessible interest rates, agricultural producers will be able to free up part of their working capital, which can be directed towards expanding production, modernizing capacities, and increasing output volumes.
