Average car loan size increased by 15.2% over the year

In November, the average amount of car loans issued in Russia reached 1.5 million rubles, which is 15.2% higher compared to the same period last year, according to the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NБКИ). Compared to October, the average car loan amount decreased by 0.7%. Experts note that before this, the indicator had been growing for seven consecutive months. The leaders in terms of the average car loan amount include Moscow (2.2 million rubles), Moscow Region (1.89 million rubles), St. Petersburg (1.78 million rubles), Leningrad Region (1.61 million rubles), and Krasnodar Territory (1.58 million rubles). The highest annual growth in the average car loan amount was recorded in Moscow (+23.6%), Orenburg Region (+20.9%), Irkutsk Region (+17.7%), Moscow Region (+17.4%), and Saratov Region (+17.1%).
