Work on the high-speed railway line between Moscow and St. Petersburg is being carried out in accordance with the established schedule. This was stated by Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev following a working inspection of key facilities.
Data from the comprehensive construction monitoring system was reviewed. At the moment, the most active phase of work is underway in the Moscow and Tver regions. Approximately 14,000 workers and 5,000 units of equipment are involved along the entire route.
Special attention was paid to the integration of the railway into the transport systems of the capitals. Savelyev personally familiarized himself with the progress of the construction of critically important structures at the entrances to Moscow and St. Petersburg – overpasses and viaducts that will ensure "seamless" integration of the high-speed railway into the urban infrastructure.
"What the builders have shown us here proves that we are proceeding according to the plan. Our task is to complete everything on time," emphasized the minister.
